Christine Hoyt is a resident of New Brunswick who currently serves as Director, Operations for the Canadian Cancer Society, New Brunswick. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Christine has also lived in Ontario, Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, Saskatchewan and New Brunswick. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Saint Vincent University, a Masters of Business Administration degree from Royal Roads University in British Columbia and a Certificate in Industrial Relations from Queen's University.

Prior to moving to New Brunswick in 2004, with her husband and two teen-aged sons, Christine served as a Deputy Minister for the Government of Saskatchewan, and held various other senior government positions in the Northwest Territories. As the owner of her own private business consultancy firm, she worked with many aboriginal clients, including the Nunavut Wildlife Management Board for several years.

Christines community involvement has included serving on the board of a womens shelter and a public housing authority; holding executive positions with municipal and regional Chambers of Commerce; serving as an appointed member of a municipal advisory committee and a regional hospital board of directors and also serving as an elected Trustee for a school board. She is now actively involved with her sons high school.
