Biography
Francine Whiteduck |
Francine Whiteduck, a member of the Kitigan Zibi Anishnabeg First Nation, earned a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University in 1982.
In 1984, she founded Whiteduck Resources Inc. – an Aboriginal evaluation and research firm – on traditional Kitigan Zibi territory, where she continues to serve clients. In her 24 years of owning and operating Whiteduck Resources Inc., Ms. Whiteduck has contributed to a wide array of projects with various partners, including the Assembly of First Nations National Review of Indian Education with the Assembly of First Nations, and the Federal Procurement Business Database with Indian and Northern Affairs Canada. She has also assisted in economic development initiatives with the Quebec Native Women's Association.
As President and CEO of Whiteduck Resources Inc., Ms. Whiteduck continues to participate in various activities with governmental and non-governmental organizations.
